The nascent Iraqi Coastal Defence Force (ICDF) received its first two 27m patrol boats on 4 April 2004. The first two boats of the 400-strong force will be joined by three sister vessels by the end of May. The force is also expecting to receive 10 smaller vessels to be handed over imminently. These craft will eventually replace the US-led coalition's vessels in the coast guard and policing roles, aiming to counter terrorism and smuggling operations and generally take on responsibility for security in Iraqi waters.

These boats just signify Iraq people have their own ICDF or Navy after WAR. Don't expect they can really work now.

ya well a navy boat is not a navy boat unless it has some weapon system on it. if the american don't wanna give missile to the iraqi navy at least let them put a .50 machine gun on it.
