Pakistani F-16s reach Turkey for joint exercise
Pakistan Air Force’s six multi-role F-16s reached Turkey to participate in a multinational air exercise, code named “Anatolian Eagleâ€, an Inter-Services Public Relations statement said. The PAF Fighting Falcons received a warm welcome from the Turkish Air Force.Participation in the multi-national exercise will be an interesting as well as challenging task the PAF pilots. Besides Pakistan, air forces of the United States, Germany, Holland, Italy and Turkey will act out air battle scenarios in demanding operational environments. A fortnight in Turkey would help shape up the PAF officers and also help strengthen ties between the countries participating in the exercise, the statement said. Air Chief Marshal Kaleem Saadat will go to Turkey to witness the exercise.
