Help Identifying a uniform

Hi all, I have grown interested in the military through family history, but I need some help. I am attaching a picture of my father in law and would like some help in identifying his uniform or finding information about it. I know he was in the army and this photo should be from ~1955. But I cannot find anything like this uniform even remotely similar!

it could be an older version of the West Point uniform.

Alot of the details match, but then again some dont.

Aha! i think i found it Pennsylvania Military College.
