From my preliminary search into the competition it seems that the aircraft that will bid for it will be the Russian Mig-AT the Korean T-50 the British Hawk AJT the Italian M-346 and the Czech republic L-159.

Does anyone know any other aircraft that will possibly bid for the competition?

Will Russia only bid with the Mig-AT or it is possible that the Yak-130 will also be included.
As most of us know the Yak-130 and the M-346 are derived from the same program and they come from the same airframe and essentially have he same capabilities. Does anyone know the price of the two aircraft? I would expect the Yak to be cheaper and certainly a star to win the competition especially know that it has won a very large contract in its own county (200 trainers with the Russian air force if i am not mistaken.)

You are right about the candidates, except the Mig-At, although it is early for the competition, because more of the weight is on the new fighter program, last summer Hellenic Air Force decided that it needs 37 new training aircrafts.
Some magazines have also a short list with T-50 first, M-346 second and Hawk 3rd and also claim that Yak-130 will have the half price of M-346. But it is considered as the outsider

L-159 still alive? :shudder
It's in service in the Czech republic, & the Czechs bought far more (because of a political deal to prop up the manufacturer) than the air force wanted, so has 40+ L-159s for sale. Brand-new, never used, in perfect working order, one careful owner, full service history.
