Greece and Turkey

I have just found this site and it seems just what I need. But if I have misjudged that and my question is not the sort of thing the site is for please forgive and ignore my question.
I am writing a novel that takes place in Greece and Turkey at the end of the Cold War and I need to find some information on Greek and Turkish defenses against each other in August 1991. If anyone can point me toward some sources I would much appreciate it.

Well, i may not know much about it except that in turkey there was no major diffrence in the end of the cold war but if you want to know more than i suggest that you search it in wikipedia. By the way what's your novel about? Im kinda curious
