I have been very interested in military analysis for quite a long time, and after a little while of thinking recently I realized that that's what I want to do with my life. So I started looking for opportunities to get into the field. I'm currently a student at University of California Santa Cruz planning to declare a double major in political science and economics. But from there on I'm sort of left hanging. The only thing I managed to find that would get me in the right field is the platoon leaders course with the Marine Corps, after which if my occupation specialty in the Marine Corps were intelligence, I'd have the background, (and hopefully the money) to try to do a masters in military analytics more specifically. I know there are many current military analysts on here. Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks ahead of time.
