I have a couple of questions about Germany's fleet of CH-53's. According to the info I have Germany has 49 CH-53G and 12 GS assigned to 2 Regiments, as well as an additional 16 CH-53G and 3 GS asigned to training/OCU functions. In addition, I hear that they are going to convert 20 of the machines to a CSAR standard.
1. Are my numbers on the number of machines in the invesntory correct?
2. How many of the craft assigned to the 2 regiments are actually primary inventory aircraft?
3. Have the CSAR modifications been completed?
