Could someone please advise details of the British unit in the Honour Guard at the (re)burying of the first Digger at Fromelles on 30th January.
I’m specifically interested in the “old” Regiment of Foot ‘battalion company’ feathers/tufts on the berets.
I recall reading somewhere that a Regiment had retained the red over white feather … presumably for ceremonial occasions.
I further presume this was that Regiment.
Thanks
Peter
