Force Composition of USAF F-15C w/AESA

This maybe old news but please bare with me. After reading about the much debated Cope India 2004 Exercise I became interested in AESA-type radars, especially those being using in the USAF and in the USN. While doing online research, I learned that only 18 F-15C's were outfitted with the AN/APG-63(V)2 radar (http://www.boeing.com/news/releases/2000/news_release_001220n.htm). Additionally, I learned that AN/APG-63(V)3 radar was also developed by Raytheon and that this is intended for use in Singapore's F-15SG fighters. My question is, will any more USAF F-15C's be outfitted with either varients of the AESA radar. If so how effective will this be in prolonging the Eagle's service life.

Thanks for the Help...

AFAIK the USAF will upgrade at least some C modells with AESA and other improvements, including the addition of AG stuff and keep them operational longer than planned. Some F-15E might also become an AESA radar in future.

From my understanding the last F-15 units that are planned to recieve the F-22 in the coming decade will be the ones that will recieve the AESA upgrade because of their long wait for the Raptor. These F-15s will then be transfered to USAFR or NG units.

About 175 of the best remaining F-15Cs (APG-63(v)2) and a similar number of F-15Es ((v)3) are currently slated to get AESA, although I believe this program is currently only partially funded pending more F-22 orders.

6 National Guard F-15C have been funded in the first year. The NG hope to be able to fund larger numbers in subsequent years, but that's not yet certain.
