Is this a good fighter as compared to other fighters and the F/16 that Pakistan is being given ?

Does Australia really have 350 of these FA/18's ?

Mod edit: As mentioned, there are a number of threads already dealing with India's interest in acquiring new fighter aircraft. Also as mentioned, discussions of platform vs. platform are generally excluded. In the future, please research (google.com is good) questions when possible and look into existing threads as well.

First of all, I suggest you do some research and second of all this looks like Platform A vs. Platform B thread to me. But just so I don't post a one liner the F-18's the US is said to have offered India are Super Hornet's.

1. There are other threads dealing with this.

2. I agree with eaf-f16's comments that this looks like a Platform A versus Platform B thread.

3. Where on earth did you get this figure? Australia has 71 FA-18A/Bs plus 24 FA-18Fs on order.
