I discovered this photograph of one of the ssgn conversions with what appears to be a new type of dry dock shelter on it.It certainly seems more hydronamic from the front but look at that big hinge for the access door!

Truculent, thanks for that. I had always wondered what the SDV shelter looked like inside. Now I can see its a whole lot more basic and low tech than I imagined.

I wonder what they did with the sdv whilst they were on the port visit?I am sure they do not transport the DDS around empty.
