DKM Bismarck

You have probally heard of this legendary vessel. after doing some research I have been looking for videos of the battle between the HMS Hood and the DKM Bismarck.

got any videos?
if you have any pictures of the interior that would be great.

do you think that the Prinz Eugen should have waited for it?
it did send the HMS Hood to the bootom but do you think it was truly the greatest ship of its tim 1939, 1941???

The early part of the war witnessed some classic 'boys-own' sea duels between the RN and German Navy. The last survivor of HMS Hood has only just passed away. Obituary below:

There's mountains if information on the web covering the initial contact (loss of Hood), subsequent hunt and final demise of the Bismark. There's also a great B&W film called 'Hunt the Bismark', which can be purchased via Amazon.

You should also take time out to research the battle between the pocket battleship Graf Spee and light cruisers HMS Exeter, Ajax and Achilles. Another classic, made all the more memorable by one of the cleverest uses of deception in Naval warfare resulting in the scuttling of the German vessel and suicide of her captain.

I remember seeing that CGI version on YouTube. I had a quick look for it.
Found a cut down version but better than nothing.
