Sweet. Any other contributing aircraft from nearby African nations? There seems to be quite a motley (though an interesting mix nonetheless) of aircraft types in Southern Africa, that could make for a hell of an airshow...

I have received no news of any other African nations attending the Air Show as yet, but these things change without notice on our side of the world.:) I will keep you posted when I receive the final confirmed aircraft list.

I've seen RAAF & USAF C-17's at Avalon Air Show a few years running. They put on a great display. Watching something that big move around the sky like that is impressive, plus they stop on a postage stamp.

The Hawks are actually one of the most impressive, they aren't as loud as the proper fighters and they don't climb as well but the sustained turn rate is something to behold.

Pray for those F-15's, they are crackers. Two F-100's with the burners on are loud, really loud. The Gripens and Mirages will be great anyway, wish I could be there! :)
