Aussie LCMs and LCPs transfered to Malaysia?

Can anyone confirm that LCM’s and LCP’s were transfered to the Royal Malaysian Navy by the Australian government in either the late 60's or early 70's as part of the Defence Aid programme, that also included the transfer of 11 ex-RAAF Sabres to the Royal Malaysian Air Force. A number of LCM’s and LCP’s, armed with GPMGs, were operated in the rivers of Sarawak against the North Kalimantan Comminist Party, and I was told that these came from Australia.

Jane's Fighting Ships has LCM 1-5 and LCP 1-15 as "Australian-built and transferred in 1965-70".

Does anyone have any further information on these Australian LCMs and LCPs, as to the year they were built and when they entered service with the RAN?
