At present, are our tanks in iraq uploaded?

I heard that our tanks in Iraq are not uploaded with main gun ammo. I found that hard to believe, so I thought I'd ask. If its true, what is the sense in having tanks there? I hear that they do have the ammo close by, but not in the tanks. Something about a change due to the subject of rebuilding Iraq.
During peace time in Germany, all our tanks were uploaded. Is the mission for tanks over in Iraq? I also hear that the Bradleys are the ones handling all tank missions.
This makes no sense, if someone is shooting at a tank from a building with an RPG, I say pop a main gun round at his ass, the hell with the building.!!

That is false, our tanks are combat loaded with maingun rounds, maybe what you have heard is that the Sabot ammunition is not part of the loadout due in part because it is not needed. It is true that the Bradleys along with the Strykers are handling more of the armor support duties which make sense to do.
