Firstly I realise countries don't pick aircraft based on which gave the test pilots the most thrills (sadly in my view) but which aircraft now and from the past have pilots really enjoyed flying?
This has nothing to do with combat effectiveness just the sheer joy of flying. I know they don't get to choose but some aircraft must be more fun to fly than others and pilots must speak to each other about the aircraft they fly.
I know I'm biased but the Eurofighter seems to give a lot of bang for the governments bucks in the fun stakes as the agility seems to make it a big hit.
