Decoy have develped for few decades ,originally used in World War Two. At that time, the decoy almost made of wood,but considering the limite of the radar and infrared level at that time, those wood decoys worked very well during the war,and play an important role for Japanese ,Germany , USA army.
As the technology in radar and infrared field developed rapidly in past few dacades, and the satellites are used in the battle field, the wood decoy can not satisfied the requirments of modern warfare, then some manufacturer created inflatable decoy and was widly used .resently ,some manufacturers have produced the Third-generation decoy, Called Monocoque Decoy which contained the most advanced technology, and are very similar to real equiments,i think in few years ,some inflatable decoy will be replaced by Monocoque Decoy.
