How would the sidewinder compare to the ASRAAM? Is Asraam really a better weapon or is the latest sidewinder still one of the best AIM around ?

Shimmy, we kinda want to avoid the "this vs that" type of threads. Basically, such threads boil down to "personal" preference rather than actual capability of the weapon system.

Further more, if you want to discuss and compare various weapon systems, please be sure to write more than couple of lines about it so we know about your understanding of the weapon and your opinion about each one. It stimulates the discussion and offers the reader a something to reply to.
