Northrop Grumman Corporation, BALTIMORE: Northrop Grumman Corporation has been selected for a contract valued at more than $230 million to update Jordan's national command, control, communications, computer and intelligence (C4I) networks with state-of-the-art systems.
The multi-phase, five-year effort will modernize the Jordanian armed forces' communications and information technology networks and help secure the Kingdom against external threats to its borders.
Northrop Grumman's new BattleSpace Command C4I and RADIANT air defense systems will provide the Jordanian government with improved capabilities to react to threats against its national sovereignty. The systems will allow seamless operations between all Jordanian armed forces, including the Army, Navy and Air Force, as well as provide interoperability with coalition forces in the region. The new systems' common operational picture and situational awareness will enable decisive actions in all conflict situations for Jordanian commanders.
