BVR Systems, ROSH HA'AYIN, Israel: BVR Systems (1998) Ltd. today announced the award of a sub-contract, valued at US$2.15 million, for the supply of work-share in a new F-16I simulator for the Israel Air Force (IAF). The prime contractor for the Israeli portion of the program is Elbit Systems from Israel.
As part of the business setup for this program, Elbit Systems will act to provide BVR with additional orders in the future.
BVR Systems' Chief Executive Officer, Ilan Gillies, commented: “We are proud to add the Israel Air Force to our expanding list of international F-16 simulator customers. This contract complements four additional projects won by BVR internationally in the last few years for the provision of a total of nine (9) F-16 simulators of different blocks, four of them being Full Mission Simulators. In all the other programs BVR has served as the prime contractor.”
