, MUNICH: Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) is drawing considerable attention at this year IDEX 2007 in Abu Dhabi. The scout and reconnaissance vehicle FENNEK as well as the world famous all protected vehicle DINGO 2 will participate in the exhibitions daily dynamic displays and prove their unique mobile abilities.
In addition the Spanish version of KMW's LEOPARD 2 A6 will not only be exhibited at KMW's license manufacturer General Dynamic Santa Barbara Sistemas but will as well participate in two of the mobility demonstrations.
Further focal points of KMW's exhibition are the special ops vehicle MUNGO, air transportable in a CH53 helicopter with 10 fully equipped soldier, the brand new and fully automatic gun mount FLW 200 as well as the MBT Table-Top-Trainer simulator in hardware. A concept of the proven air defense system GEPARD will also be presented, highlighting upgrade possibilities such as Stinger adaptations next to the 35mm twin gun and the S.M.A.R.T.-Fort concept for effective camp and site protection.
