Israeli Ministry of Defence, The Government of Israel, Ministry of Defense (GOI/MOD) is considering the possibility of replacing the IAF Zukit (upgraded Fouga Magister) basic training aircraft with a new trainer aircraft. The intention is to execute this program using a PFI concept.
In general, we are seeking an aircraft with approximately similar characteristics and aerodynamic performance of the Zukit.
A part of this RFI process will include a comprehensive test and evaluation phase of candidate aircraft. The results of this process will be taken into account during a potential RFP stage. A document detailing this phase will be published at a later date (during the RFI stage).
In addition to this document, a “contact us” link will be opened for clarification questions, according to the timetable described in the RFI. Response to these questions will be provided either through email or published in the website. Please make sure to check the website for messages, clarifications, updates etc.
Respondents are expected to submit their response as detailed in the RFI document and attachments. In order to allow the GOI/MOD the most accurate information and comparison, respondents are requested to fill the pricing tables in the format they are published.
Please be advised that this request does not commit the GOI/MOD to take any further step such as issuing a RFP or contract, nor any other way or form of commitment on behalf of the GOI/MOD.
