ANI, Two French warships have arrived in the Chinese port of Qingdao to take part in a daylong joint naval exercise with the Chinese Navy.
According to the official Xinhua news agency, the naval exercise will take place in the North China Sea on Tuesday, and will involve shipboard helicopter maneuvers, search-and-rescue drills, besides other activities.
French destroyer Latouche-Treville and the light frigate Commandant Birot would join the Chinese guided missile destroyer Harbin and the supply ship Hongze Lake in the exercise. Qingdao is the base of China's North China Sea Fleet, the news report said.
