Foreign Military Training Unit Activates

US Marine Corps, MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE: The Marine Corps will activate a new unit here Tuesday, in front of Building H-1. The Foreign Military Training Unit, part of the 4th Marine Expeditionary Brigade (Anti-Terrorism) will be the first of its kind in the Marine Corps.  
 
The mission of the FMTU is to provide tailored basic-military-combat-skills training and advisor support for identified foreign military forces in order to enhance the tactical capability of coalition forces in support of the Commander, United States Special Operations Command and the Geographic Combatant Commanders
