Eurocopter, MARIGNANE: The Eurocopter flying displays will demonstrate the company’s leading position in the field of helicopter technology. Every day, the highly advanced Tiger combat helicopter, the world’s most modern and high-performance aircraft in its class – will perform spectacular flights.
At the company’s static display (No. G), Eurocopter will exhibit the most successful helicopters of its product range: the AS355NP (the latest model of the famous Ecureuil family), EC135, EC145, EC155, EC225, and EC725 – in various commercial, parapublic, and military configurations – alongside the multi-role HAP Tiger combat support helicopter. In the adjacent area, the first Swedish NH90 in its high cabin version and a German NH90 TTH (Tactical Transport Helicopter) version will be presented by NHIndustries, the NH90 consortium in which Eurocopter holds 62,5%. In each of their respective categories, these helicopters show the very broad spectrum of Eurocopter’s technical and mission capabilities.
Eurocopter products are very present in all market segments where helicopters play a key role like:
– the oil & gas market for transporting material and passengers to and from platforms or ground bases;
– the parapublic sector mainly for surveillance & law enforcement missions by police, customs, coast guards, border patrols but also for Search And Rescue (SAR) and firefighting missions;
– the health segment for medical evacuation and patients’ transport
– the corporate/VIP segment for transportation in a business or private configuration
– the utility segment to perform aerial work
– military market and more specifically in terms of troop transport, combat and naval missions.
The company is planning contract signatures and aircraft hand-overs to customers at the show. Eurocopter is sharing a booth (Hall 2A, No. 18) where some helicopter mock-ups are shown, as well as a chalet (Pavilion A420-426, by invitation only) with its parent company, EADS.
