AGENCE FRANCE-PRESSE, The European aerospace and defense group EADS plans to make 30 percent of its sales in the Asia-Pacific region by 2010, the group finance director Hans-Peter Ring said on May 4.
He told a meeting of shareholders here that by that date the European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company hoped to make 30 percent of its sales in the Asia region, which it defined as including Australia.
In 2005, Asia accounted for 23 percent of group sales and for 43 percent of orders taken.
