Korea Overseas Information Service, Two bidders vying for the country's early warning aircraft procurement project have successfully passed the Air Force's test and evaluation session on their operational requirements, the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) said on Wednesday (June 14).
The agency's supreme decision-making body, chaired by Defense Minister Yoon Kwang-ung, will choose the final winner based on the evaluation results as early as next month, a spokesman for the agency said.
Once the body approves the results, price negotiations for a final winner will start, said Park Sung-soo of the agency's public affairs office.
