Aero Vodochody, Recently, Aero Vodochody a.s. has signed a new contract in connection with general overhauls of L-39 military jet trainers in service with Algeria. Aero won the contract in cooperation with PAMCO INT., a long-term exclusive Aero partner in Algeria.
The contract comprises mainly of an audit of the Algerian repair center, which should be followed by a technical assistance with L-39 aircraft general overhauls and repairs of selected parts and assemblies.
In the first stage, general overhauls will be carried out on 10 L-39 aircraft, C and ZA versions. In the closing stage, the contract is supposed to be expanded in cooperation on the complex modernization of Algerian L-39 aircraft parts.
