, At Defendory International 2006, AERO presented the L-159BAT to the Hellenic Air Force (HAF) as a suitable solution of its current situation in the sphere of fighter pilots training.
Similar solution is just being carried out with the Czech Air Force (CzAF). AERO is currently rebuilding four single-seat L-159 Advanced Light Combat Aircraft into two-seat Advanced Training versions. The order is based on the General Agreement on Follow-on Support Service of the L-159/L-39 fleet, signed between AERO and the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic in December 2005 for a period of 25 years.
